a view of the interior of the BHS Navajo Hogan, used for traditional healingRMCHCS-BHS offers and unique blend of Western medicine and Native American healing methods through its traditional healing program. The goal is to provide an alternative method of healing through Sweat Lodge Ceremonies, Talking Circles and traditional diagnostic ceremonies done in a Native American hogan. All ceremonies are performed by recognized Native American traditional counselors. The traditional program was created in 1992 with the idea of providing a culturally sensitive method of healing for Native American patients. However, the traditional program is open to all patients regardless of race, color, or creed.
