Charles Hauser

Dr. Charles Hauser graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He completed
a Pediatric Internship in Brooklyn, NY, General Psychiatry residency in Galveston, and a Child Psychiatry
Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. After years of private practice of Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry in Houston, and, later, in Colorado Springs, he moved to Fort Worth, as Director of Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry at Trinity Springs Hospital. Currently, Dr. Hauser is a Community Psychiatrist
with Rio Rancho Family Health Center and practices in Gallup with RMCHCS via telepsychiatry. He
is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, UNMHSC. He is Board Certified by the
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General and in Child Psychiatry, and is a Life Fellow
of the American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
He provides child, adolescent and adult psychiatric services at BHS via our telemedicine program. Dr. Hauser resides with his wife in Santa Fe.
Gretchen Woods
Gretchen Larson Woods, PMHCNS-BC, has been with RMCHCS for 10 years as nurse manager and
practitioner. She is a full time prescribing psychiatric nurse practitioner, providing psychotropic
medication management and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Gretchen completed her
Master of Nursing at the University of Washington in 1980. Her post graduate work was in the Nurse
Practitioner program at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Her experiences include
clinical faculty member at the University of Washington, University of Hawaii, and University of
New Mexico School of Nursing. Gretchen also has years of private practice experience in Seattle as
prescribing and counseling provider in collaboration with psychiatrist.
Jeremy Lindsey
Jeremy Lindsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapeutic counseling
services to children, adolescents and adults at the RMCHCS/BHS Outpatient Clinic. Jeremy received
his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State
University, in Fort Collins, CO in 1997. He went on to complete his Master's Degree in Marriage
and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX in 1999. Jeremy's areas of
professional interest and specialty include marital and family problems, parenting issues, Christian
counseling, and adolescent chemical dependency.
Mark Geraghty

Dr. Mark Geraghty graduated from the Colorado School of Professional Psychology in 2007 with a
doctorate in clinical psychology after completing an internship at The Guidance Center in Flagstaff,
AZ. He earned a Master's Degree in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe during 2002.
Dr. Geraghty has attained post Master's Certifications in Grief Counseling, Death Education, and
Hospice. Currently Dr. Geraghty is working with RMCHCS/BHS as a resident psychologist/therapist
working towards licensure as a clinical psychologist. His current licensures include Clinical Mental
Health Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, School psychologist, School Counselor, School
Diagnostician, and a Rehabilitation Counselor. Dr. Geraghty has lived in New Mexico for the past
fourteen years since being stationed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, NM. After retiring from the
Air Force in 1997, he lived in Taos and Santa Fe before moving to his current home in Gallup, NM.
Experiences in mental health throughout New Mexico have included inpatient and outpatient
addiction programs for adults and children, working with people with developmental disabilities,
school psychologist, therapist and as a behavioral consultant.
Paula Stifler
Paula Stifler, LISW has been the Director of Behavioral Health Services at RMCHCS since 1999.
She received her Bachelors of Science from Pennsylvania State University in 1976 and earned
her Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 1988. Her clinical experience includes directing
social work services for acute inpatient psychiatric, addiction, and eating disorder programs for
several hospitals, managing a private psychotherapy practice and supervising a city outreach
program for at-risk youth in Massachusetts before moving to New Mexico in 1997. Her practice
specialties include treatment for co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders, adolescence,
and eating disorders.
Jill Blacharsh
Dr. Jill Blacharsh, Medical Director for RMCHCS Behavioral Health Services, has been practicing
psychiatry for over 25 years. She earned her medical degree at Duke University and completed
her psychiatry residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, University of Nor Carolina. Moving
to New Mexico in 1986, she has practiced in various clinics at the University of New Mexico for 10
years, worked with Health care for the Homeless in Albuquerque and provided psychiatric services
for RMCHCS since 1999. Dr. Blacharsh is board eligible in Psychiatry.
